running hard with the griz . is a poor atemped at best. and could be used to put trapping in a bad light.

Hmmm, that's interesting...I have his dryland coon trapping video, and while I do not necessarily think it's the greatest video out there (not absolutely terrible either), I did not see anything in it that was overly damaging to the reputation of trappers....maybe "Runnin Hard" is different... I heard his dispatching in this video could be a little hard on the virgin eyes.

not seen the video myself, but i have been told that the "dispatch-scenes" in it were a bit too graphic. that, by itself, could and would cast a bad light upon the trapping fraternity.
each us know and understand the necessity for "dispatch". however the general public may well view this part of the video in a negative fashion.

What a freaking idiot. I may not be able to catch as many as some but the utmost respect is shown to each and every criiter I harvest. Never had to shoot a critter more than twice and that is on rare, rare occasion.

I have Stecks Farmland Snaring DVD. I have seen alot better video's , but it was'nt the worst I have ever seen either. There is only 1 or 2 dispatch scene's it and they were'nt very graphic or inhumane. He shoots a beaver or 2 with a hangun and that is it. I hate to hear about his dispatching methods in the Grizz video as well as Mirandas video. You would think that the people that are representing trappers in the public eye and on film as well as profiting from trappers that purchase their video's would handle themselve's with a little more honor.
