I ran my traps this morning and found where something had been in a trap and got out, thought maybe i would catch it tonight. About 11:00 today a guy that i went to school with came to my work and the first thing out of his mouth is you caught my $3000.00 coondog last night and broke his leg. He seemed a little upset, at first i didnt know what to say to him. Then i hit me I told him its a wonder it didnt get caught several times thoughtout the night. I figured i was going to hear that i needed to pay a vet bill, if i would have heard that think i would have blown my top, if he can pay that much for a dog a vet bill would be pocket change. I told him the dog probably had a sore foot not broken that she would be fine. I think maybe he just wanted to let me know what was in my trap i didnt even see the footprints around it he told me was there. Anyway before he left, i was invited to coon hunt with them, and he is supposed to get my a cajun light for free that is one of his sponsors.
