Does anyone know if there is any way to use my duke #4 rubber jaws without the rubber jaws as i would like to use them as beaver traps I am very new to trapping any advise would help greatly

If you do away with the rubber pads they would be a offset trap which will still work for beaver. But trap placement is critical with off sets as toe caught beaver will become educated beaver. And they will become a nightmare for you.
If you have some thing differnt i would use them. But the rubber padded jaws will hold beaver ive done it.

They are a great investment for beaver traps and the resale is great if you need to get rid of them down the road.
